I could have seen Dan Akroyd, John Belushi or John Candy in Seth Rogen’s role as the schlubby yet sensitive husband and Rob Lowe or Andrew McCarthy in Zac Efron’s role as the bad boy/pretty boy/frat boy. Maybe Shelley Long or Elizabeth Perkins in Amanda Byrnes’ role as the stressed-out wife coping with the pressures of marriage and being a new mom.
